My rates are fairly low because I allow kids to get distracted, horse around a bit, tell a joke and what not. I don’t like to exert pressure and will abort a session if I see there’s no point in continuing.
During sessions I do not use electronic devices because in school, in the exams, you cannot use them either. This slows down the pace even further. Of course for preparation at home I heavily use a computer and the internet.

Maximum group size depends on age group. The younger the fewer student I can handle simultaneously, and the more tailored tutoring has to be anyway (so as to not make other kids get bored).
No service above 250m (i. e. no Nikolausberg); I go everywhere by bike. Sure there are buses but, look, the commute isn’t paid.
Online tutoring only for tertiary education students. There are exceptions, but in my opinion, online tutoring is not suitable for students of primary and secondary education.

I have had it all: Teaching can be a tremendous success (we cannot stop and eagerly want to continue past the hours) and crushing defeat (we have to abort prematurely because there is no point).
Warum gebe ich gern Unterricht:
Giving lessons is a great opportunity to learn. It may seem counter-productive: aren’t you supposed to learn everything before even considering to teach? Yeah, of course I prepare yet students ask the wildest questions. Asking (and answering) questions makes you learn things you never thought of.
